Great interest: Business council from Malaysia informs itself at the association

The Industry Business Network 4.0 e.V. received a high-ranking visitor. The East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), a business council from Malaysia, came to the association's headquarters in Bad Wörishofen, Bavaria, to learn more about the association and the topic of Industry 4.0.

 

The response to the work of the Industry Business Network 4.0 is growing and growing. The work of the association with its strong partners such as TÜV Süd, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and the University of Augsburg is spreading around the world. Now, the SME initiative received a business delegation of high-ranking representatives from Malaysia at its association headquarters in Bad Wörishofen, Bavaria. Led by CEO Datuk Seri Jebasingam Issace John, the "East Coast Economic Region Development Council" (ECERDC) learned about the topic of Industry 4.0 in general and the work and goals of the association in particular.

Konstantin Kernschmidt, Industry 4.0 project coordinator at the association, presented the SME initiative, highlighted the current status of the association's projects and answered the numerous questions from the council members on the topic of smart factories. The tenor of the group around CEO Datuk Seri Jebasingam Issace John: in Malaysia, too, SMEs form an enormously important and supporting factor of the entire economy, driving many innovations.

 

After a tour of the Industry Business Network 4.0 Test Center and the MicroStep CompetenceCenter South, the demonstration and training center of the world market leader in automated plasma cutting, the representatives of the host MicroStep Europe, the Industry Business Network and ECERDC posed for a souvenir photo. The conclusion of the Malaysian delegation: an exciting project with a lot of potential, which will meet with great interest internationally.
