EU politicians are showing very great interest in the Industry Business Network 4.0 e.V.: As part of the annual reception of the Parliamentary Circle of SMEs Europe (PKM Europe), the association presented itself at a fair in the EU representation of North Rhine-Westphalia in Brussels. The topic of the evening: digitalisation of SME industry. The EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel, personally informed herself about the solutions of the Industry Business Network 4.0 e.V.
As part of the annual reception of the Parliamentary Group of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses Europe, the association presents itself at a trade fair in the European Parliament.
The focus of the most recent working group meeting was on the construction of the reference plants - Prof. Dr. Heiner Lasi spoke as a guest speaker about his own experiences.
The Industry Business Network 4.0 e.V. received a high-ranking visitor. The East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), a business council from Malaysia, informed itself about the association and the topic of Industry 4.0 at the association's headquarters in Bad Wörishofen, Bavaria.
The headquarters of the Industry Business Network 4.0 e.V. in Bad Wörishofen, Bavaria, where the association's first reference facility is being built, was recently officially listed as a test centre of the Industrie 4.0 platform. The Test Centres map shows research and development institutions across Germany where Industry 4.0 applications are being tested.
A transparent overview of machine states in production is particularly relevant for many Industry 4.0 scenarios. The member companies ARKU Maschinenbau GmbH, MicroStep Europa GmbH, Oscar PLT GmbH and TEKA Absaug- und Entsorgungstechnologie GmbH met on 15 February to work on this topic. This time the host was ARKU Maschinenbau GmbH in Baden-Baden.
The association members IBEDA Sicherheitsgeräte und Gasetechnik, MicroStep Europa and Sauerstoffwerk Friedrich Guttroff met on 7 February as part of the "Gas and Media Supply" working group in the new Guttroff Technology Centre in Würzburg.
